Yeah, I dropped Court off at school the other day and her teacher told me that Courtney decided that Victor ( a fellow 3-year old ) is her boyfriend. What? Where did she even hear that term? Ummm...ok, maybe I shouldn't let her watch Hannah Montana, but it all seemed pretty harmless at the time. Anyways, her teacher doesn't think it's a big deal because she doesn't seem to know what it even means. That whole day, she just dragged poor Victor around and ordered him to tell everyone he was her boyfriend or she was going to break up with him. While the teacher thinks it's cute, I'm a little worried..for 2 reasons: 1) I don't want my kid to be that precocious, agressive girl that starts calling and chasing boys at like age 7...not going to happen 2) I'm concerned that she thinks the definition of a boyfriend is a boy you can boss around. Ummm...ok, she may have gotten that from watching me and my husband :) The funny thing is that Victor just follows her around and does whatever she says. Maybe I should be proud that she is showing such "leadership" skills at such a young age?

now, does this look like a bossy, high-maintenance diva in training...
ummm...yeah!
